The security measures were quick ; no total scan or patdown. Maybe too much media hysteria? During flight, no complimentary nuts , pretzels but good selection of soft drinks. Pleasant attendants and passengers. Pilot was skillful through turbulence. Seats? Yuck!

How can a airline as big as Delta not have tires for there aircraft at there home airport? We were told they have to fly a tire from Detroit because it was a Northwest aircraft and it was a the same as Delta aircraft. We were told to expect a 1 pm departure but i almost missed the connection after deplaning going to get a bite to eat because nobody couldn't tell me if that aircraft would be fixed. I was heading back to the gate about 30 minutes later and heard the final call for the flight. I had make a mad dash for the gate and made the connection.
