My flight was the ONLY one canceled that day because the crew was delayed the night before; kind of ironic for that time of year since it wasn't Buffalo's weather. It did make me realize that there is no consideration that this might occur because of bad weather elsewhere and if 'your crew' is delayed so are you because there isn't another to replace it. However, all the complaining I sent to United must have went straight to the waste basket because I got NOTHING in reply, not even an automatic reply with some canned statement. I still have my old paper United frequent flyer card with its pre-merger number, not out of loyalty, but this is another custumor service issue. I gave up on getting a new card with number and finally just crossed out the old number and hand wrote the new one and have yet to have an agent notice or care. Since my frequent flyer loyalty means nothing, I shop around for the lowest fare when I fly and no longer give preference to United.

I had the worst possible experience ever..I called customer service and they were of no help at all...my flight was at 557am and I got to the airport around 445am and after I went through security and everything they make an announcement that " the flight crew got in very late last night around 1am and thus they are resting right now and flight won't leave until 915am" it is very upsetting to know that united airlines does not value the time of their customers and did not have the curtsy to let their customers know via email/phone/text that the flight will be delayed. It was pretty clear when the crew got in at 1am they knew that the flight will be delayed and this was not a last minute issue. I had to wake up at 4 in the morning to get to the airport and attend to an important matter back home. I am very disappointed in united airlines to show such a nonprofessional attitude without an apology. This is not a one time event for them, while flying in to buffalo on sat jun 30th via united again my flight was delayed from 1pm to 315pm..again the crew was not at all bothered by the inconvenience of their customers. I expect a full refund or compensation from united and will never use them again. 99% I am sure this complaint will be read and ignored by the united but this just goes to show more how customer satisfaction have no value for them.
