We had decided to fly to Atlanta to see our son & his family & found a flight with US Air with Hotwire for under $200.00 per person. I had given my credit card number, received my confirmation number etc. & when I hit enter, the fare numbers rolled over & a new price of almost $800 came up. I contacted hotwire & was told that another person must have put in the same flight as me & beat me to that price so my fare was now $800. Even though I had a confirmation number & they had my credit card (it wasn't charged to my account yet) I had nothing. So my grandaughters that were so excited to know that we were coming, were now sad & disappointed, while the hotwire personnel cared less & offered me no help or solution or even so much as an apology. All he wanted to know was if I was still interested in the airline tickets at the $800 price. I will definitely not use hotwire again.
