the flight down... the people were friendly and very attentive.

the flight back... they were not and mainly just cared about trash pickup. the coffee was horrible...used the faucet water which made it stale..never offered a refill. the flight was delayed over an hour and they were frustrated with getting us in and out of our seats when boarding and departing.

Granted, the check-in goes pretty well, especially if you pay the extra to board early. I couldn't believe that people would sit in a center seat just to be close to the front! The seats were not that comfortable and the in-flight service was only average. Jet Blue has it all over these guys.

When I attempted to print my boarding pass the night before, it said I owed an additional $218. I also discovered that the flight from ATL was changed and we would now have nearly a four hour layover. I spent a long time on the phone with Expedia who did get the $218 cleared but said Air Tran changed the flight and they did not know why. While waiting in ATL we watched the flight we were originally supposed to be on take off with no delays or problems. We had selected that flight in the first place because we had a two hour drive from Tampa and wanted to avoid the traffic, needless to say, we were stuck right in the middle of it.

Had options for cheaper flights (albeit with one stop) but chose non-stop and chose JetBlue -- all in all, it turned out to be a pretty cheap flight from Boston to Tampa, and back.

No problems with check-in, service was very good on board in spite of full planes on both legs. The individual TVs are just awesome.

Terminal at Tampa is very functional with monorail from gate to terminal.

The boarding at JKK was caotic...literallly like cattle trying to get through a gate. But once aboard, the seats were very roomy, TV was entertaining and the snacks above average. Totally feel ripped off by all airlines in regard to charging for seat selection!

We were excited to hear about the in-flight wi-fi that Air Tran offers on their flights. Then were disappointed to discover that there's a FEE!! We didn't pay it. I'm not sure I'd fly Air Tran again before checking other airlines first, due to their baggage fees. I'd prefer to fly on an airline that allows the first bag for free.

On time, courteous crew, reasonable snacks (and seconds if you want) and FULL CAN OF SODA. Nice roomy seats (leather); really what you used to expect and what you hope for today! We even landed ahead of schedule "both ways".

It was a 6AM flight and the food options for purchase were salty chips and chocolate chip cookies.

After having trouble releasing a child carseat from the airplane seat (the seatbelt was jammed), one flight attendant told me to ask for a seatbelt extender. The seatbelt extender did not allow me to get the seat tight enough. When I asked for help, a different flight attendant barked at me about it not being their job to guarantee that my child's carseat is secure. I tried to explain that the reason I was in the situation I was in was because of a directive from a flight attendant, but the woman continued to talk over me and be rude.

Moments later ANOTHER flight attendant came by nice as can be and gave my sons wings for flying.

Flight was clean and on time however which is all that really matter.
