Coast to coast without stops - a luxury in todays world of cut service airlines. Up to date planes, friendly crew, clean seats. This airline cares and proves it. I won't fly any other way to Beantown.

I really love this airline. They give you at least two rounds of free snacks, come by with water a bunch. I had a bag that was too big to carry on on the way back because it was too fat, and they checked it for me for free! Nice people.

It's tough sitting for all those hours, but the flight attendants did a great job. I would especially like to say a big thank you to the Horizon Air flight attendants and personnel for their hard work and great sense of humor. The complimentary wine and beer was also a big treat. The last part of my adventure was on Alaska Airlines. The personnel made the "red eye" flight bearable enough for me to do it again. Thank you all!

I realize they can't do much between flights, but I wish they could have done better to clean up the seats/traytables/pockets. The seats were a bit tightly packed as well and I ended up not having much space under the seat in front of me because of some obstruction(I guess I should have checked seat guru to see which seat to pick).

I have flown back and forth across the USA for more than 30 years and don't think I have had as great a experience as Alaska Air...from the gate agent, to the flight attendants, etc. everyone was so polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. The only unfortunate experience of having a family of bouncing babies and flying kids and oblivious parents sitting in front of us and the opposite aisle was not the airline's fault. I definitely would recommend Alaska Air from Boston's Logan airport and Portland's PDX!

I really love being able to cross the country on a direct flight, and Alaska (cross-listed on Delta or American usually) is the only airline to offer the direct Boston-Portland (OR) flight. I found the seats to be uncomfortable, but it's worth it to be to leave Boston at 5 and land in Portland at 8. In-flight entertainment is pretty bad though. There are no TVs, only $12 "dig-e-players" and they do a poor job of letting you know what entertainment is on them before you shell out your money. Service was average, but the price was reasonable so overall, I'd recommend this flight. Just don't expect anything special.
