Both SATA and TAP airlines extended the worst service from cabin crew ever ! I should know, I have flown to 101 countries and every continent, as well as 40 US states.
Fares were high- and unable to handle only through a SATA express travel agent for The Azores and Madeira. Unfair- as I know I could have done better.
Return flight from Madeira- took us to Lisbon( east when we needed to go west) and then a technical stop back in The Azores with a pat down and search of hand luggage when the flight had just originated in Lisbon !! Where would we have gotten anything necessitating this uncomfortable and uneccesary embarassment infront of other passengers-and being corraled into a room uinable to step into the airport without going through the same process.
Be careful- this was just ridiculous, and extended our flight by 6 hours !
