We arrived in Boston from Dublin, Ireland at about 2:30pm, stood in line for about 40 minutes at Continental to check our bags. Finally, they announced a tornado warning from Newark to Boston until 8pm that night. Our flight to Newark was supposed to leave at 4:30pm. When we got to the desk, the lady "booked" us on the earlier 3:30pm flight so we would have a better chance at getting to Newark to catch our flight to Dayton. Not only that, she waived the $23 baggage fee for us, trying to make up for all the tornado delay. She didn't have to do that, it wasn't Continental's fault, but she did! We did get out around 6pm, leaving us just minutes in Newark to catch the flight to Dayton. Long line in Newark because of all the delays. When we finally got to the front, the guy, without a word bumped us again up to the earlier flight to Dayton. WOW! These people are amazing! We got to Dayton only a half hour later than we expected, and that in spite of tornados and thunderstorms in both Boston and Newark. We knew we liked Continental when we flew to Australia, Guam and multiple other Pacific Islands. Now, we can't say enough about their terrific service.
