Love that Delta has individual tv screens ..wish we had more leg room,only thing is that we didnt get to see a movie..wish the airline had meals like in the old days

My recent trip to San Diego started off well. I used my frequent flyer miles to get a free flight and started the Baltimore to San Diego part off in first class. It's always nice to be pampered once in a while and I wanted to use my miles before the rules changed or I lost them.
Anywho, the flight attendant was courteous and very pleasant. She even stopped people who had too much carry-on baggage and told them they had to check it!! What a welcome sight that was! I often marvel at the amount of stuff people attempt to bring on board.
We got hot food with real silverware! I would have given 5 tail wags for comfort but the schlub in front of me reclined and jammed his feet against the bulkhead ensuring maximum lounging space (for him). I was a little cramped while eating. Other than that I had a pleasant experience.
My flight from Phoenix to San Diego was also uneventful. That flight attendant was also very pleasant and was practically begging us to take extra snacks.
Pretty satisfactory experience overall.

Relatively nice experience.....but like you point out, there are fewer flights to handle the demand.All in all, it sure beats taking the car or bus for any distance over 300 miles!
