    April 27th had reports of terrifying tornadoes, but my flight only had a few bumps. The pilot was thoughtful and reasonable in keeping the passengers informed and comfortable. Being on time was great. Every seat was full, but I still had room to breath.

    I paid an additional $10 for pre-boarding and thought how worth it was when compared to other airlines who would charge me at least 5 times that amount for my luggage. The flight was fine and even though it was late in leaving arrived on time.

    As always, flying on Southwest is a treat. Very pleasant crew, nice snack assortment, and free checked bags. I gave seat comfort an "average" rating because it is, well, average, but that's not a strike against Southwest per se. It just is what it is in the industry these days. If I have a choice, I'll pretty much always fly Southwest.

    The DENVER airport departure security check system takes forever, travelers are herded into maze like lines that can take an hour or more. Knowing this, I bought the additional Premier Line benefit for a 8:45 AM United flight from Denver to Baltimore this morning. I avoided at least 90 minutes in the baggage check and security lines. It was just a taste of First class, but it made seat #15 D almost bearable!!!
