At DFW, was told flight to COS would be a minimum of 1 hour late taking off due to icy runways in COS and a plane sliding off the runway. Turns out that plane had inflight problems and had to make an emergency landing for fire in landing gear. When AA figured this out, they immediately began to board without - to my knowledge - a communication over the PA. Luckily a friend happened to venture out to the gate and found out they were boarding. Other than that, all take offs and landings were right on time and the service on the plane was very professional, yet friendly.
