Departed gate, taxied on runway and then- mechanical problem.
Sat on runway for a long time while Delta found an empty gate. Sat at gate not allowed to deplane by Delta. Finally given water only. After more than two hours, allowed to leave the airplane while the defective part was located, installed and tested. Arrived at Newport News, VA more than three hours behind schedule.
I would only fly Delta a gain as a last choice.
