The flight was cancelled. American offered to fly into Dallas from Atlanta to NYC. Nightmare...I asked about flying another airline - they offered Delta. It worked out fine - had to go through security twice, again not my favorite thing. We're home and that's what matters. It's known why the flight was cancelled. - DD

My recent flight to NYC was great. It was a night flight and the plane was equipped with free satelite tv which was great. The crew was nice and made my trip to NYC an enjoyable one.

Flights in both directions left on time and arrived on time. Seats were tight especially since there was a larger person sitting in the middle next to me and a large tall gentleman on the return flight also. Coffee was cold but all in all good flight.

the business upgrades we were able to secure online 24 hrs out from departure was well worth the cost...not that the coach was bad, but board first, no checked luggage limit, more room, snacks/drinks included.

This flight was one of the worst i have ever flown. They charge for baggage that you carry on to the plane, (i.e. $30). Twenty five dollars if you check it in. On the plane, (1)one of the flight attendants had his pants opened to tuck in his shirt while coming out of the restroom. We were boarding the plane, who wanted to see that? (2) The seats were very close together. When the person in front of you reclined, there would be no way to get out. (3) The restroom smelled awful. (4) The flight attendants looked tired and unkept and most importantly, they were very unprofessional. I plan not to ever use this airline

On Sept.15th, 2010 I made a connecting flight via Atlanta to JFK on Delta Flt 1154 that was suppose to leave at 9:37 PM. The passengers were informed by the pilot that we would be delayed because they were awaiting the arrival for one more (disabled ?) passenger. Finally, at 10:13 pm the passenger never showed up and we finally moved away from the gate. Can someone educate me on why the airlines would postpone their departure for 33 minutes for one person??? Needless to say that we did not make up the time in the sky and arrived late at JFK.

Flight was on time, flight attendant service adequate, seats were hard, uncomfortable and plane was not well cleaned with seat upholstery in poor condition, arrival at Airtran terminal in New York La Guardia was like arriving in a third world country - hot, tiny, messy, old and not very clean. Airtran is a low cost carrier and they look and act like it.

I recently flew airtran from Atlanta to New York. The flight was over two hours delayed and when it finally arrived, moments before we are about to board, the flight attendant announces it has been cancelled because It was so late New York curfew woul not allow the plane to land. Needless to say I was very frustrated. I was able to get a flight out the next morning- on an oversold plane, was stick in a very uncomfortable seat all the way in the back, by the restroom, with no windows. I was unthrilled at all of it, most of all the fact that I lost a night of my vacation.

I was upgraded to first class on this flight. We were delayed approx. an hour and a half (ground hold in Atlanta because of weather issues) and took off late. The cabin crew was extremely apologetic to all passengers and repeated this apology throughout the flight. The crew couldn't provide info on the status of connecting flights but gave tips on how to handle the situation if someone missed a connection. In first class, dinner was offered but service was put on hold for some time because of turbulence. Eventually the meal was brought out; we had to rush through it although passengers understood it was unavoidable. In coach, the crew couldn't roll out the usual beverage and snack service because of the turbulence. However, they did offer soft drinks and water. Again, profuse apologies were made. This was an example of a proactive crew that handled well a situation that might have left many passengers disgruntled. Instead, because we were given full information in timely fashion and received sincere apologies, passengers accepted the delay and the inconveniences with minimal protests. If only Delta would always handle such delays and service disruptions in a similar manner, it would go a long way towards creating greater satisfaction among members of the flying public.

Overall the customer service could have been much better and the flight experience wasn't all they said it would be or what I have expected it to be. I don't think I would do business with them again. For being a low cost carrier I expected more in several other ways but it didn't happen.

I did not like the fact that you now have to fork over 50 bucks to check in one bag on American, and you have to pay 8 dollars for a blanket. Doesnt' the cost of the ticket cover anything else now days.

I found the check in super easy with the kiosk. The flight outbound was on time. The flight attendants were business like. The return flight was delayed b/c weather but the pilot was very light hearted about it and kept us informed and entertained. The weather was rough and prevented drink service, but they gave us all some water and these flight attendants were cordial even with the irregularities.

There was availibility to upgrade to business class in both directions. The comfort was welcomed especially on the flight back as we were on a ground delay for Atlanta. Good flight, efficient and sharp landing (ATLtoLGA) and scenic! Flight attendents were generous.

With everything in the news about the changes airlines are making, I was prepared to be unhappy. But I wasn't! I do not wish to pay extra for a particular seat (I just paid for the flight!), even at 5'10" tall. But I was comfortable enough as the flight is relatively short. Packed a carry-on well so no checked baggage fees. And the Biscotti was not stale!

Late boarding, full plane, even offered 2 check bag 4 free (tells one how much this cost is really justified)! On plane attendants screamed at pax if they did not get the response they wanted immediately. Both ways were just horrendous. Oh. & if u want a drink after going thru all that they do NOT accept cash (?) & then do not comp anything even tho they acknowledge what a hard time we r hvng. 0 customer service.

Went to NYC for our anniversary on Delta. No real good or bad to say about it. Average, Got us there on time going up even after a 45 min delay in ATL. An hour delay coming back for some reason, never heard why. Typical traveling
