In an effort to accommodate those travelers affected by Hurricane Sandy, airlines have eased restrictions on ticket changes and waived fees. Here's a little round-up from around the web:
JetBlue is offering to refund or rebook passengers through November 14. Fees are waived for travel to the New York metro area, Washington DC, Baltimore, Richmond, and Boston.
Southwest passengers can rebook or travel standby within 14 days of original ticket date at no additional charge. Customers holding reservations for cancelled flights may request refunds.
American passengers booked for travel between October 28 through October 31 on tickets issued no later than October 26 can rebook for travel through November 7.
United passengers can rebook by November 7 with change fees and fare differences waived. Travelers will be expected to pay only a fare difference for travel beyond November 7.
Delta will allow refunds for cancelled flights or those that are delayed by at least 2 hours. Passengers are allowed to make a one-time change to tickets without incurring a fee, if you are traveling to/from Washington DC, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine.
US Airways will allow passengers booked for travel from October 28 through November 1 to reschedule through November 7, with change fees and fare differences waived. Change fees will also be waived if you reschedule for travel by December 20, though a fare difference may apply.
Spirit will waive fees for passengers who wish to change tickets for passengers who wish to reschedule travel for after November 14, though a fare difference may apply. This exception is valid for those booked to/from Atlantic City, Baltimore/Washington DC, Boston, Latrobe/Pittsburgh, Plattsburgh, and New York City from October 28 through October 31.

Fly from Mesa, Arizona to Honolulu, Hawaii for $198 round-trip, nonstop, including all taxes, on Allegiant.
Service begins in February and we spotted plenty of available seats across the Allegiant fare calendar. No minimum stay required. As seen by the screen grab below, we chose a February 20th departure, returning February 28. When booking, just be careful to search for "Flight Only" as to avoid Allegiant's endless "Flight + Hotel" offerings. And book with your debit card to avoid Allegiant's weird credit card fee.
