Nice Savings on New Virgin America Promo

Posted by Alisa B on Thursday, March 6, 2008

In their latest offering, Virgin America is reducing fares by 30% off their already attractive fares simply by having you enter a promo code in the promo box at time of booking on their website.  You MUST be an EleVate member (so register right away!) to receive e-mail containing the proper code for your specific use.

In more cases than not, the service is non-stop and fares can be booked as one-ways as well.  Travel between now and May 21, 2008 and book by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on March 9 to cash in on this nice one.  The promo applies to Main Cabin accommodation only.  Blackout dates are March 20 - March 24, 2008.  Needless to say (but we'll say it anyway), taxes and fees are additional.  The promo code may only be used once.  Run (or fly), don't walk to the Virgin America website!  These are some really good fares this go-round on most of Virgin America's routes.

Allegiant Reduces Fares Again!

Posted by Alisa B on Thursday, February 28, 2008

For the second time in as many days, Allegiant Air has reduced their fares to ridiculously low levels!  There are now $19.00 fares for the taking across their route system.  Just check their site and cash in!  Too many fares to mention.  Some only valid in one direction.  They can be easily combined with the lowest available fares in the other direction to make round trips, if desired.  They're easy enough to find and are generally sprinkled throughout March and April.  We're guessing this will be a very short-lived thing. Act quickly!

Allegiant Cities on Sale

Posted by Alisa B on Wednesday, February 27, 2008

Allegiant  Airlines has lowered many of their fares by $20 - $40 or in some rare cases even more.  The reduced fares are for travel from April onward and in as much as this is an unadvertised sale, hopping on the band-wagon quickly is a prudent action.  Fares disappear as quickly as they appear and you might want to put the money in your pocket before the vanishing act occurs!  Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix/Mesa, Las Vegas, Clearwater/St. Pete and Orlando/Sanford are their main hubs with service to numerous airports all over the U.S.  Fares are reversible and bookable as one way fares as well.  Grab seats while the going is good.  Allegiant's fares are normally low and are all non-stops, although they do charge a $9 online booking fee and checked baggage also incurs a per bag fee.

Virgin America reminds us it's LEAP YEAR!

Posted by Alisa B on Tuesday, February 19, 2008

Virgin America has found yet one more February cause for a celebration sale.  It's LEAP YEAR, everyone!  As February winds down, we've already observed Ground Hog Day, felt the love on Valentine's Day and celebrated our presidents.  Thought we got them all?  Nope.  Once every 4 years, a leap year rolls around and we get an extra day to work hard, play hard or have the airlines find something to shout about.  Virgin America is shouting about their Leap Year sale and you can find their fares listed on our site.  The routes included in this promotion include non-stop service from San Francisco and Los Angeles to San Diego, Las Vegas, Seattle, Washington, DC (Dulles) and New York (JFK).

Fares may be booked on Virgin America's site by February 22, 2008, require a 7 day advance purchase and are good for travel through May 21, 2008.  Restrictions apply and fares range from $39.00 each way to $129.00 each way plus taxes and fees.  These fares are for Virgin America's Main Cabin.  While you're checking this promotion out,  you might want to look at their very reasonable First Class fares as well.  What the heck!   It's  LEAP YEAR!

USA3000 celebrating February!

Posted by Alisa B on Thursday, January 31, 2008

USA3000 has neglected mentioning our past presidents in their February celebration where they mention Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, but no matter.  They're saving ticket purchasers $20.00 on all round trip tickets purchased through their website by 11:59 p.m. EST on Feb. 4, 2008.  That's this Monday, so hurry and cash in while this latest promo lasts.  Seats are limited.  Travel must be completed by Feb. 29, 2008 and you must remember to enter "FEB" in the promo box on the USA3000 site to get your $20.00 savings ($10.00 off on one-way travel.)  Taxes and fees are additional (we include them on international fares that we list) and remember to check the "flexible traveler" box to more easily find the lowest available fares.

Skybus Expanding Routes

Posted by Alisa B on Wednesday, January 9, 2008

Skybus has announced new service to Toronto/Niagara Falls, Philadelphia/Wilmington and Chicago/Gary beginning in March and April of this year.  As they frequently do, they are using smaller, less congested airports to service  busy airport cities.   It's sometimes worth a little extra drive time to make your airport experience a bit easier, especially these days.

New daily service between Toronto/Niagara Falls and Columbus begins on April 1 with the usual Skybus $10.00 price tag each way.  Yes, $10.00!  Seats are currently available and this is NOT an April Fool's trick.   On March 7, service commences between Philadelphia/Wilmington and Columbus or Greensboro with the same price tag.  Lastly, on March 13, 2008, Skybus will add a Chicago/Gary to Greensboro and a  Philadelphia/Wilmington to Columbus or Greensboro route at - you guessed it - $10.00 each way!  These low fares are available for those who are flexible and book early.  At $10.00 each way,  these bargains don't always last long.   Skybus is also adding additional flights to already existing routes to Hartford/Springfield, Milwaukee,  Richmond and Ft. Lauderdale.   This extra  service begins during March and April as well.

Taxes and fees on all flights mentioned here are additional and reservations and all booking info can only be found at the Skybus site.   No search engines offer this information.
