Scandinavian Airlines is offering a very popular European destination on day 11 of their "24 Days of Christmas" sale. Milan, Italy is known throughout the world as the capital of fashion and design. So pack your bags, bring your credit card and go shopping at The Piazza Duomo, which is the world's oldest shopping mall and one of Milan's most popular tourist attractions.

Here are a few sample fares I found on SAS's website (In parenthesis is the competition's fare):

**Sat Jan 31 - Sat Feb 07: Newark (EWR) $716.10 w. 1 layover (Continental $628 nonstop)

**Fri Feb 13 - Fri Feb 20: Chicago (ORD) $776 w. 1 layover (Northwest $663 w. 1 layover)

**Sat Mar 07 - Sat Mar 14: Seattle (SEA) $716 w. 1 layover (US Airways $726 w. 1 layover)

**Mon Mar 23 - Mon Mar 30: Washington (IAD) $716 w. 1 layover (Iberia $584 w. 1 layover)

As you can see with the above prices, SAS does not always come through with the lowest fares. But Scandinavian Airlines has had a pretty good track record so far with this promotion. Out of the 11 days that it has been going on, only 2 of the days fell flat with savings.
