Airlines typically lower fares to the Caribbean this time of year for travel before the Christmas rush. Of course, this is also hurricane season in the region and kids are back in school, so traffic drops off.
But Aruba is well below the hurricane belt, and we've spotted some great fares to the island from many US cities.
For example, you can fly to Aruba from these cities at these tax-included fares:
- Atlanta $350
- Nashville $344
- Charlotte $344
- Denver $455
- Detroit $365
- Lansing $413
- Kansas City $378
- Minneapolis $373
- Philadelphia $345
- Salt Lake City $380
You'll find details and links to these and other fares in their respective city fare pages. In most cases, travel is Sept 4 to Dec 13. Near as we can make out, these fares will go off sale on July 23. American is the primary carrier to Aruba, and has listed sales to the island and to many Caribbean and Mexican destinations on their site.
Bonaire, another hurricane-safe island, is also on sale.
