Aer Lingus September Sale

Fares from Washington DC:

    Aer Lingus is having a sale from select US cities to Dublin and Shannon. This sale is good for travel through September 30, though departure dates vary according to city. Let's take a look at a few sample fares:



    • Boston to Dublin, valid September 10 - 30, advertised as low as $234 one-way: For travel from September 17 through September 25, that $234 fare comes to $547 round-trip, including all taxes. These same dates on both Orbitz and Travelocity gave us a higher fare of $557 round-trip with US Airways.

    • New York to Shannon, valid September 3 - 30, advertised as low as $199 one-way: We checked for travel from September 4 through September 12, and the advertised fare of $199 comes to $481 round-trip, including taxes. On Orbitz, we found this trip listed for a slightly higher fare of $487 round-trip with Delta.

    • Chicago to Dublin, valid September 3 - 30, advertised as low as $294 one-way: For travel from September 3 through September 12, that fare of $294 each way will end up costing you $667 round-trip, including taxes. The best we found on Orbitz was $671 round-trip on Delta Airlines.

    • Los Angeles to Dublin, valid September 4 - 30, advertised as low as $328 one-way: Searching for travel from September 7 through September 14, the advertised $328 each way fare comes to $735 round-trip, including taxes. Orbitz also lists Aer Lingus as the best deal for these dates, for $747 round-trip.

    So for those considering that September trip to Ireland, this Aer Lingus sale had the lowest fares for every trip we searched. Barely, but still the lowest. When searching the Aer Lingus site, be sure you check the flexible search calendar for the best deals. Sale ends July 10.
