MaxJet adds LA-London nonstops

Fares from Washington DC, District of Columbia:

Starting August 30, MaxJet will launch new nonstop service between Los Angeles and London's Stansted airport. The all-business-class airline is charging $699 each way, which works out to about $1550 round-trip with taxes. Flights depart LA at 5 PM Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday and arrive in London at noon.

MaxJet doesn't have lie flat seats, but it's a heckuva lot more comfortable than economy class, and you'll often end up paying almost as much as MaxJet charges if you book an economy class ticket for peak summer travel.
