$24 off Spirit Airlines sale

Spirit Airlines is having a Cinco de Mayo sale. You'll save $24 off round-trip flights for travel between May 6 and June 19 but it's not quite what it seems.  Spirit offers $5 off each way for fares booked on its site and this $24 off sale includes the $10 round-trip discount you'd normally get, so you're really only saving $14. But $14 is $14. This sale ends at midnight tonight. Just another example of how you get the best fares by booking directly with the airline and not using third-party sources.
