Started in the UK with Continental flight to San Diego, flight late departing no info, arrived late E.W.R flight to San Diego full so put on flight to San Fransisco, well that was late so put me on flight to Los Angeles , but arrived there too late for last flight to San Diego, but luggage got to San Fransisco, in the mean time with 1 hour connecting flight time after passing all security and immigration, no one to help due to crowds of people queuing with other delayed flights, no drinks or meals offered moving from b to c terminal arrived L.A no one there every one gone home at 22 hr but managed to get a chap in departures to issue a hotel voucher but still no food and he got me a flight to San Diego on the early morning sunday flight still no food, arrived San Diego 10-30 ish and my luggage was waiting the best part of the trip but having traveled 24 hours due to time differences no food or water offered at all, also missed my first night at hotel, and after getting back to the UK complained to Continental who offered $75 after a 24 hour delay and no food, missed hotel at $50 so that it with continental , they have lost my flights and since then I have booked 4 flights over the pond with other Airlines, if I has been an Animal the HUMANE SOCIETY would have prosecuted this poor firm

We're batting .500 on catching flights on Continental, they cancel the flights the day of departure continually. Extremely disappointing and difficult refund process.

Both to and from Costa Rica we were on planes that had Direct TV and no wi-fi. I bought the Direct TV on the flight down thinking I would be able to watch the in flight movies that were advertised in the airlines magazine only to find out if the plane is equipped with Direct TV, no free movies are shown. For a 5+ hour flight there should be a free movie you can watch. Also, no free snacks - and the breakfast sandwiches that you could buy were expensive and not good. Only good thing...both flights to and from Costa Rica had on time arrivals. Leaving Costa Rica someone on the plane didn't pay the departure tax, which caused a late departure, but still an on time arrival.

Beyond terrible. Continental is horrific, from the excess baggage fees to the super tiny seats/non-existent leg room. I'm just 5'10 and 180 pounds and felt like I was in a car seat. Plane was jam packed and overbooked. I flew Jetblue coming back which was wonderful. I will never fly Continental again!!

My husband had a ticket from las to phx on a later flight because of a mess up from the reservation and was told there was no room on my flight and he had to wait for the later flight, only to find out there was an open seat next to me and was never filled. Gate attendant had said flat out NO! Employees should represent their company in a humane way, and if they do not like their job, QUIT!

Continental/United offers what is currently the best connections for flying from Lexington-Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Short lay-overs, multiple time options, and good service. What more could anyone want?

Had a bad experience in Monroe. Long term parking was not marked at entrance due to construction. Drove around airport three times before finding an entrance to park. People were rude and slow. Told me I had to take luggage over there and I waited in line 15 minutes just to find out I was in wrong line. Liked to have missed my flight.

This was a "train-plane" combo, which worked quite well from Philly to EWR to Austin. On the way home, there was a glitch because the Amtrak ticket attendant was at lunch when my plane got in, and the automated Amtrak Kiosks are not set up for multi-modal tickets, so I couldn't use the kiosk to print out my Amtrak boarding pass from EWR (Amtrak does not permit you to print out your boarding pass on-line, the way airlines do, for some unknown reason). Luckily the ticket agent returned before my train left, so it turned out fine, but Amtrak really needs to work on their ticket automation!

I stopped using United and became a frequent flyer on Continental. Now with the merger the things I disliked from UA are now back in the mix. Continental used to be much better than UA. Prices are up and service is down.

Overall we had a pretty good experience with Continental. We had the best seats in economy, however, on the smaller plane the space was really tight. The larger plane was great, plenty of space and we even watched a cheesy movie! :)

We loved our flight co1409 and going down co1460 because its a direct flight no stops we hope Continential Airlines does not get rid of this most convenient way to travel there. We traveled 1st class on the way down and coach on the way back. The times for these flights are great too. With not having to leave too early from each location its just a great way to go.

The trip out on the 747 was rommier and the landing seamless. coming home on the 737 was very cramped and the landing was very hard. At least check in and boarding was very good.

The best thing about this flight and flying Continental this time is you get notifications from both Continental and United. My flight was alittle late getting off because of traffic out of Newark. But we got to Phoenix close to schedule. Also, I booked my flight so that I would fly into Phoenix, but leave from Las Vegas. That too worked well and is something I do often. It still counts as a roundtrip ... as a matter of fact my total cost was a little lees than the RT from Phoenix....great service.

The value for the dollar was good, polite employees, enough staff to keep things moving on the ground, and attentive but slightly rushed in the air. Uneventful. I miss the free snacks though! Would recommend.

Total chaos, my (paid) reservation did not exist in either airline's computers! Thanks to Orbitz (who stayed on the phone with me for over 1 1/2 hours while she persuaded the corporate office to honor my paid reservation), I was finally able to board, 6 hours later. The Orbitz agent told me they had experienced a LOT of those same problems since the United/Continental merger began. Very frustrating -- arguably not worth it!!

And having the isle seat I was up and down 20 time I think... All children should be in the back...

This flight was cancelled by Continental and we were told that we could catch the same flight 5 days later wth 2 days travelling theb one day in Flordia as our Holiday time ended on Apr. 29th!! The Continental agents gave us O help to reach our destination. We dragged suitcases from kiosk to kiosk ourselves to desperately try to secure seats on another carrier to hook up with our connections. Extreme lack of cooperation and assistance in our plight. We have yet to recieve a refund that we requested from Continental that we requested immediately. We left the airport 3 hours later angry and extremely POed. I have since emailed Continental twice to complain and unsuprisingly recieved no reply. Never again to fly Continental and we are sure to relay this treatment to others. Francie Lockwood
