Things to do and see in Columbus, OH

The Columbus OH Airfare Widget

We've been working on developing a desktop widget that shows a continual "scroll" of fares from whatever airport. It's still in the works. But you can see our Columbus fare widget here.

We'd be interested in hearing if you think it's useful. In its present form, this is actually just a Web page you open in your broswer. You can make it as small as you like, and refresh the page now and then to see our latest fares. It's not a "true" desktop widget (that's still in the works) but you might find it useful anyway.

Columbus International Airport

You can also find the widget on the Port Columbus official Web site. For more information about Columbus International Airport, visit FlyColumbus.com

Airfare Search Tips

Buy hotel + air packages

It’s often cheaper to buy an air/hotel package rather than airfare alone. When we say “cheaper” we mean that the total package with hotel is often less than the airfare without the hotel component. LastMinute.com is the online leader in this field. Travelocity often offers “TotalTrip” options  just above the airfare-only search results. Don’t ignore these deals! Usually, they work best only if there are two of you traveling since the hotels are based on double occupancy. They’re especially useful for last minute travel. Tour operators and your local travel agent also sell packages that might save you money, although not necessarily on last minute deals.
