Things to do and see in Austin, TX
Austin is home to the Texas State Capitol, Lyndon B. Johnson Library, and Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. The Zilker Metropolitan Park is full of attractions, like the Zilker Botanical Garden, Austin Nature and Science Center, and the Barton Springs Pool (which is actually fed from underground springs). If you're looking for some entertainment, don't forget to visit downtown Austin's Sixth Street, which is lined with bars, restaurants, galleries, and shops.

Airfare Search Tips

Don’t assume that Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, and Sidestep all have the same fares.

They don’t. Especially on international fares, one of these online travel agencies could have a fare several hundreds less or higher than another. A few years ago, Travelocity was selling seats to London on Virgin for $400-$470 round-trip, taxes included, from east and west coast cities, even for peak summer travel. Those fares were only available on Travelocity,  (they weren’t even available on Virgin’s own site). So check all the online agencies, and use multi-site search engines such as Booking Buddy.
