This site was conceived by George Hobica, and is maintained by him and a highly dedicated team of airfare experts. We're a part of the Smarter Travel Media LLC family of travel websites, which includes BookingBuddy.com and SmarterTravel.com.
Other sites use computer programs to find and list fares. We don't. We use real people, who actually compare airfares on airlines that the computer programs can't, such as Southwest and JetBlue (you'll never see a Southwest fare on the big travel sites and many airfare search sites leave out smaller airlines, such as Allegiant and USA3000. We also list the increasing number of promo code fares (the airline equivalent of clipping coupons).
In fact, we go out of our way to tell you if a fare is lower on Southwest Airlines, which does not participate in our affiliate program (explained below), because we're more interested in building our reputation for honesty than making a buck.
But real people must be paid, somehow. And if you find we're saving you money, you can help.
