Although we make a big impact, Airfarewatchdog is actually run by a small handful of people whose passion is saving consumers money on airfare. Real people finding real airfares. We do not use automation or computer programs to find the fares we list. Instead, we use the folks below:

Tracy (our newsletter guy/writer, New York City). He's the wit behind our site. Previous employment includes baggage handler for a major airline. Blame him for your lost Louis Vuitton (just kidding, Tracy).

KL (Senior Airfare Analyst, Chicago). He's not as mysterious as he looks :) Kim currently looks after our UK site and our weekend fares.

Alisa (Airfare Analyst, New York, NY). Former travel agent and a wonderful person. WIth grandchildren in London, she's always on the lookout for low fares, and keeps Virgin Atlantic profitable.

Barbara (Senior airfare Analyst, Boston, MA). Always smiling. Well, frequently smiling. Took early retirement from Ma Bell and never looked back.

Brian (Part Time Fare Analyst, Astoria, NY)

Brian, in addition to being a certified flight instructor, is studying aviation at Purdue University.

Jonathan (Our tech guru, Port Washington, New York). Where would we be without you? Gets frequent panicky calls from Barbara at 4 AM (e.g., "Help, the site is down!").

Gabriel (Manager, Airfare Analysts, Windsor, Ontario). Originally a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering, decided he had more fun saving you money on airfares. He recently moved from Toronto to Windsor.

Danielle (Senior Airfare Analyst, Philadelphia, PA) lives and works in suburban Philly, where she was a retail travel agent for many years. As such, she knows all the tricks of the travel agent's trade in finding super low fares.

Megan (Airfare Analyst, New York, NY) lives and works in Astoria, Queens, New York City. She has absolutely no travel agency or airline experience, but it appears that doesn't matter, since what she does have is attention to detail and a winning work ethic. A native of Massachusetts, she's also involved in New York's lively theater scene.

Florin (Senior Airfare Analyst, New York, NY)

The newest addition to the AFWD team, Florin comes to us with extensive experience in airport and airline management, and has also worked as a travel agent. A self-admitted airline and airplane fanatic (yes, he's a plane spotter), he's a native of Romania, holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is an avid outdoorsman. 

George (Our Founder, New York, NY). Formerly a travel writer (Travel and Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, Real Simple, and other magazines), when not walking Browser he gets down in the trenches and looks for airfare deals.

Heather (Product Manager, Boston, MA) is a master of detail and organization and handles all the tasks that the rest of us don't.

"Browser" (Our Mascot, New York, NY). He sits underneath various desks here at Airfarewatchdog headquarters in midtown Manhattan, barking orders. (He's a wheaten terrier, in case you were wondering).
